Approximately 110 miles of course. It commemorates the crossing made by King James I the Conqueror on his way to conquer Mallorca in 1229.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The start is from the Club N\u00e1utico Salou and the finish line will be at the Freu de Dragonera. Between 12 and 15 boats are expected, most of them Catalan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The race is one of the five competitions that form part of the Altura Circuit, and it can be followed on the Club N\u00e1utico Santa Pon\u00e7a website thanks to the sailing-tracking system that equips all of the participating boats with GPS devices.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The regatta\u2019s sporting programme will kick off on Friday, 8th September, with the skippers\u2019 meeting and the welcome dinner for the participants at the CN de Salou. On Saturday, 9 September, the participating boats will gather in the bay of the Catalan town, from where the start of the regatta is scheduled.
