\n\t\t\t\tCala Fornells<\/span>\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]The \u201cCala Fornells\u201d beach (Majorca) takes its name from the area in which it is located. To be precise, we find this beach between \u201cPunta de na Sardana,\u201d from where the visitor can enjoy fantastic panoramic views which include the beaches of Peguera<\/a><\/strong> and Santa Pon\u00e7a<\/a><\/strong>, or the neighbouring \u201cCal\u00f3 de ses llisses.\u201d<\/p>\n

Holiday accommodation, residential homes and various restaurants surround this beautiful beach, occupying the front line of the coast, also dotted with pine trees. This small sea inlet ends in a beautiful beach of coarse-grained sand, with crystalline waters, while rocks predominate the right bank, and on the left an artificial solarium built by the adjoining hotel stands out.<\/p>\n

This beautiful beach completes the virtuous triangle of the area, also made up of the \u201cCal\u00f3 de ses Llisses<\/a><\/strong>\u201d and \u201cCal\u00f3 d\u2019en Monjo<\/a><\/strong>.\u201d This section of the coast acts as a natural border between the municipalities of Calvi\u00e0<\/a><\/strong> and Andratx.<\/p>\n

Access by road is easy by just following the road signs. Private vehicles can park free of charge in the surrounding area. Public transport is also available. The buses stop in the vicinity of this beach.<\/p>\n

The maritime and underwater conditions of this beach, which is open to winds from the east, southeast and south, are suitable for anchoring boats, although sailors are advised to carry out this manoeuvre in the neighbouring \u201cCal\u00f3 de ses Llises,\u201d as it is more sheltered. However, in front of \u201cCala Fornells\u201d you will find a sandy and rocky seabed, at a depth of between four and six metres. The Santa Pon\u00e7a marina <\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is 2.5 nautical miles away.<\/p>\n
