\n\t\t\t\tCal\u00f3 d'en<\/span> Monjo<\/span>\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]Cal\u00f3 den Monjo (Mallorca) is one of the most beautiful natural enclaves on the island.<\/p>\n

Situated in the quiet area of Cala Fornells<\/a><\/strong>, Cal\u00f3 is a wonderful natural cove in the middle of a wooded area. This virgin, u-shaped sea inlet ends in a tiny cove where a stream flows into it, and medium-height cliffs surround this peaceful stretch of coast. Pine trees populate the area, reaching as far as the coastline, while pebbles and gravel make up the bottom layer of the Cal\u00f3 d’es Monjo slope.<\/p>\n

This beautiful cove completes the virtuous triangle of the area, which also includes Cal\u00f3 de ses Llises<\/a><\/strong>, or the best known of the three, Cala Fornells beach<\/strong><\/a>. This section of the coastline acts as a natural border between the municipalities of Calvi\u00e0 and Andratx.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Cal\u00f3 d’en Monjo is one of the two beaches that municipality of Calvi\u00e0 has officialy declared as nudist beaches<\/strong><\/a> in the municipality of Calvi\u00e0, a category currently shared with “El Mago beach<\/strong><\/a>.”<\/p>\n

Access to Cal\u00f3 d’en Monjo is not entirely easy. First we must get to Peguera<\/strong> <\/a>and from there head towards \u201cCala Fornells.\u201d After reaching the \u201cCala Fornells\u201d beach , it will be necessary to continue on foot for approximately 2 km., along a forest path.<\/p>\n

The marine and underwater conditions are suitable for anchoring a boat, although the navigator should take extreme precautions in the presence of emerging rocks and a dip in the interior of this cove open to the southeast wind. In the outermost area of this \u201csleeve\u201d there is a rock and seaweed seabed at a depth of approximately five metres. Three nautical miles away is the port facility of the Santa Pon\u00e7a marina (Club N\u00e0utic Santa Pon\u00e7a<\/strong><\/a>).<\/p>\n
