Information Cas Català
Cas Català is a place of memories. This town in Calvià took its name from the fact that at the end of the 19th century a Catalan established his home there and also his inn, right where the Hotel Maricel is currently located.
Although today it seems to us like a beach extension that covers the bay, at that time it was one of the places where the people of Palma went every Sunday to take a dip due to its proximity to Palma.
In Cas Català you can find the Cas Català beach, surrounded by several terraces of bars and restaurants that can be an opportunity to discover some of the typical dishes of Mediterranean cuisine.
And for those who want to experience the tranquility even more, following the shore to our right is a small stone cove known as Caló de Ses Gerres.
