Oratori de Portals

Portals Oratory:

Also known as the Oratory of Portals, it stands on a promontory in this tourist area of Calvià, next to the marina, the beach, shops, and restaurants that make up one of the most elegant spots in the area.
From its privileged location, it offers stunning views of the Mediterranean and houses the Virgin of Portals, the patron saint that gives its name both to the town and the chapel itself.
Cuevas de Portals Vells

Portals Vells Caves:

The Portals Vells cave was originally opened as a quarry to extract stone used in the construction of Palma Cathedral. Inside, it features an altar carved in the 15th century, attributed to Genoese sailors who created it in gratitude to the Virgin Mary after surviving a storm.
Over time, the site became a place of worship, and the image was eventually moved to Portals Nous in the 19th century after its deterioration.
Iglesia San Juan Bautista

Church of Saint John the Baptist:

The late 19th-century neo-Gothic church, known as the Calvià church, is one of the main landmarks of Calvià Vila. It stands out for its valuable interior art and its beautifully kept gardens.
It is an essential visit to understand the history and heritage of the municipality.
