Portals Nous beach is located in the tourist resort of Portals Nous, only 10 km. from the capital of Mallorca, Palma.

Also known as “Cala Bendinat” or “Cala Portals Nous,” this U-shaped sea inlet of approximately 100 m. in length, and 20 m. wide, is a very appealing option for local and visiting bathers alike.

The beach environment consists of a pine forest, low cliffs and buildings on either side.

Within the group of beaches that are located in the areas of Portals Nous, Bendinat & Costa d’en Blanes, this is one of the quietest, ideal to enjoy with the family.

Coming from Palma on the motorway (Palma – Andratx) take the Bendinat turnoff. Once you reach the roundabout in that area, turn right towards Portals Nous, and follow the signs for the beach.

Private vehicles can be parked free of charge in the vicinity of this beach. You can also opt for public transport. The nearest bus stop is about 600 metres from the beach.

The marine and underwater conditions are optimal for anchoring boats on a seabed of sand and seaweed, at a depth that varies between two and three metres. The nearest maritime facility, “Puerto Portals,” is located 0.3 nautical miles away.
