ABOUT
THE TRAIL
A very pleasant route with little elevation gain that starts next to the beach and the Peguera tourist office. After leaving the town heading north, the route runs parallel to the road connecting Peguera with the village of Es Capdellà.
Along the itinerary, you can enjoy a rich variety of landscapes, combining pine forests, farmland, and the natural surroundings of the Torrent des Gorg, offering a peaceful and diverse experience.
Among the most notable heritage elements is the Son Vic Vell estate, which preserves a defensive tower dating back to 1547, as well as a tithe barn linked to the collection and storage of this medieval tax. Also noteworthy is the Torre d’En Boira, an ancient medieval tower-house (14th century), built to protect the population from possible pirate raids.
The route ends in the picturesque village of Es Capdellà, whose origin is linked to the homes of agricultural laborers who worked in the nearby estates of Galatzó, Son Hortolà, and Son Vic Vell.
