Cala Blanca
The Cala Blanca Beach – Mallorca or “Es Castellot” is situated in Costa de la Calma, a family tourist area that borders Santa Ponça and Peguera.
This sea inlet ends on a beach, the slope of which, is composed of pebbles and gravel. There are low-lying rocks on both sides.
Cala Blanca is the most visible beach in the area. It is situated between “Punta de los Gatos” and “Punta de Es Castellot.” A little less than 1 km. away is the “Monte de Oro” beach. Also in the vicinity, there are small coves, among the cliffs and rocks that separate the sandy areas.
Don’t let the opportunity to discover the little “Chiringuito” near thebeach. With beautiful views over the Peguera Bay and a chilled atmosphere, This bar is one of the most popular ‘chiringuitos’ among locals. Enjoy a relaxed evening and the breathtaking sunset.
IMPORTANT!: it is not advisable to anchor boats off this part of the coast. The Santa Ponça marina is 0.2 nautical miles away.
Access by road is easy. From Palma, you should use the motorway, pass the Santa Ponça exit (El Molino – the windmill) and continue as far as the Costa de la Calma exit. Then, look for the intersection between the streets of “Ramon de Moncada” and “Huguet des Far “
Private vehicles can be parked free of charge in the surrounding streets. It is also possible to opt for public transport. The nearest bus stop is 100 metres away.
