Sheep and Goat Fair of Calvià
The XXIII Feria de Oví i Caprí de Calvià has a varied and complete programme of activities for the weekend of the 15th and 16th of April, but also throughout the previous week, for all ages and all audiences.
The fair will, once again, bring the local pagesia closer to the people who visit it and will allow them to enjoy a few days related to the countryside and the culture and tradition of Calvià.
The event will feature the traditional animal show, the handicraft and agri-food market, the morphological contest of Mallorcan and Mallorcan red breed males and sheep, and a shearing exhibition. Within the framework of the Fair, the 14th Shepherd Dog Competition will also take place, which counts towards the Balearic Championship.
In addition, the Sheep and Goat Show will be held, with a tasting of lamb meat, as well as Mallorcan sheep and goat cheeses.
